Welcome to Greenville Ear, Nose, and Throat Associates

Founded in 1992 by Drs. Patrick McLear and John Phillips, with Charles Smith joining shortly after that, Greenville ENT Associates has steadily grown in numbers and expertise. The practice now includes 7 highly trained physicians and a superb cadre of professionals including advanced practice providers, audiologists, speech and language pathologists, nurses, and medical assistants.

In 2009 the group joined and became employed by Greenville Health System. In 2021, Greenville ENT moved back into independent practice in order to have flexibility to meet the changing needs of our community in the Upstate of South Carolina. In September, 2023, Greenville ENT joined forces with Privia Health to gain access to cutting edge resources and enhance our ability to deliver the exceptional care to our patients here in Upstate South Carolina.
