Biography

Terri Page is a board-certified women’s health nurse practitioner. She holds a Bachelor’s and Master of Science in nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University. She was part of the MCV hospital staff from 1982 to 2006, where she worked most recently as a women’s health nurse practitioner. She had worked throughout the hospital, in medical surgical relief, labor and delivery, obstetrics and radiology.

Terri has vast experience with obstetrical and gynecological patients in the areas of family planning, health promotion, breast health, pregnancy planning and care, menopause management and hormone replacement therapy, among other areas. She has also worked as a childbirth educator.

She is a resource and advocate for women of all ages—especially those in great need. She has lectured extensively on grief issues. She works with adolescents. And she has been a volunteer with the Elizabeth Project, a program for pregnant teens coordinated through Thirty-First Baptist Church in Church Hill. She also volunteers for Cross-Over Health Center’s lay health promoter program.

Terri is an active member of the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners (VCNP), Richmond Chapter. She is also a member of the local chapter of the NAACP and the Henrico County chapter of Delta Sigma Theta, a community service sorority.

She and her husband and their son and daughter are active at St. Paul’s Baptist Church. To relieve stress and take care of herself, Terri enjoys working out at the gym, especially aerobic classes.
