Dr. Roberts received her undergraduate degree from Smith College in Massachusetts and her medical degree and doctorate from the Medical College of Virginia. She completed her residency and internship in obstetrics and gynecology at the Magee-Womens Hospital at the University of Pittsburgh. She is board certified with the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Roberts is interested and experienced in many aspects of obstetric and gynecologic care. She has particular interest in minimally invasive surgical techniques for addressing a number of women’s health concerns, including endometriosis, ectopic pregnancy, hysterectomy, and fibroids, among others. To that end, she is a member of the American Association for Gynecologic Laparoscopy. She is also trained in using the daVinci® Surgical System for minimally invasive procedures. Dr. Roberts is also interested in caring for women who have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). She joined Virginia Women’s Center in 2008 and has been in practice since 2005.

Dr. Roberts is married with two young girls. She and her family are part of a community-supported agricultural cooperative which yields locally-grown produce. She loves to cook and believes in the local food movement. When she can, Dr. Roberts likes zumba and yoga for exercise.
