Biography

Dr. Tate is passionate about helping women through all stages of life. She’s attentive and takes time to truly listen to her patients’ concerns before answering their questions thoroughly and thoughtfully. Dr. Tate knows how important it is for women to understand all of their options before choosing a care plan. She excels at laparoscopic surgery and is passionate about disease prevention and treatment.

Dr. Tate received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles and her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. She completed her internship and residency in OB-GYN at the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Tate is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology.

Outside the office, Dr. Tate is most likely spending time with her two children—a boy and a girl. She and her husband enjoy staying active with the kids biking, hiking, swimming and camping.
