General Gynecology
Gynecological Specialist
Dr. Parveen S. Vahora is a board-certified, fellowship-trained gynecologist, offering general gynecologic specialist services to women of all ages in the Trinity area. Her goal is to inspire women to live their best life by providing compassionate care for everything, from annual pap smears and cancer screenings to endometriosis and hormone therapy. She’s committed to her patients, and takes the time to get to know them all personally, priding herself on the lifelong relationships this allows her to form.
Her office is an intimate environment staffed exclusively by women and designed to keep you comfortable at all times. Your first appointment will be a clothes-on consultation, during which you and Dr. Vahora will get to know one another, so the two of you can determine an approach to your care that is perfectly to your needs and lifestyle. If you have questions about your insurance coverage, Dr. Vahora is happy to help you sort them out. She’ll be your advocate with your insurance company, making sure you get the maximum benefits available.
Dr. Vahora is proud to help her patients at each stage in their life, from puberty and contraception to pap smears, hormone therapy, and peri- or premenopausal care. She is a minimalist with a holistic approach, offering a multitude of options, including alternatives to surgery, or hormones, whenever possible. If surgery is necessary, she’s not only a fellowship-trained surgeon with years of experiences, she’s also pioneered a groundbreaking recovery program for perioperative patients. Her goal is always to improve outcomes, decrease pain, and get you back on your feet as quickly as possible, using non-narcotic options.
Dr. Vahora brings a special level of care and concern to your care not often seen in larger practices. You’re invited to bring a loved one, or a health advocate to every gynecological specialist appointment, if desired, to make sure you’re comfortable at all times. She offers real robes, not the paper ones used at other practices. And it’s also worth noting: there’s chocolate available for every patient.
