Biography

After receiving her medical degree at the Kiev Medical Institute in 1988 and working as an OB/GYN in both Ukraine and Yemen, Dr Gokoyeva moved to the US with the goal of continuing her career in medicine. She began her OB/GYN residency at Franklin Square Hospital in Baltimore in 1998.  She was board certified in OB/GYN in 2010. Dr Gokoyeva continued to serve as an attending physician at Franklin Square hospital while working as a fulltime gynecologist at Medstar Union Memorial and Good Samaritan Hospital.

She joins the team at Women’s Health Specialists of Frederick with a global perspective and depth of experience.

In her free time, Dr. Gokoyeva enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, cooking and reading.
